Spacious Luxury Waterfront Home Accommodates 6 In Comfort

The house faces the San Diego Bay south to soak up the warm winter rays.  There are generous walls of glass on that side to afford spectacular views past the Coronado Cays Yacht Club all the way to Mexico.  You can boat in the Bay and swim right off the dock.

There is a large backyard seating area for groups to enjoy the balmy San Diego evenings by the dock. The proximity of the kitchen and the outdoor BBQ grill make indoor-outdoor parties extremely inviting. The gas BBQ is near outdoor seating and tables for al fresco dining in the outdoor dining area. There is a wet bar adjacent to the kitchen for entertaining as well.

There are two parking slots in the garage and ample on-street parking including three parking spaces in front of the garage and a community parking area at the end of the cul-de-sac.  Did I mention there was no through traffic because you are on "the point" of a peninsula that ends just a few doors down the street?

The home boasts two master bedroom suites. The bayside master bedroom has vaulted ceilings and is decorated with antique ivory finished Hitchcock furniture with an Amish quilt gracing the queen size premium bed and silk duponi curtains draping the double wide sliding glass door. Relax in an easy chair with ottoman, or gaze out at the view of Mexico from the private balcony. You can safely sleep with the sliding doors open to enjoy the ocean breeze circulated by a romantic ceiling fan, and hear the shore birds in the morning. This master suite has two adjoining his and her bathrooms with both showers and floors decorated in tile, and under-the-counter granite  top sinks. The bathrooms are connected in the rear by a large walk in closet. The street side master bedroom is decorated with Queen Anne cherry furniture with a four poster queen bed as the centerpiece of the room. The window seat is a cozy place to enjoy a book, or the Tuscan inspired private balcony is a quiet place to enjoy the afternoon sun. Ample Pennsylvania Dutch quilts and silk curtains round out the decor in the room. The full bathroom adjoining this master suite is shared with the third bedroom. This middle bedroom is perfect for a couple of children. It has a double bed with and iron head and footboard, and is decorated with three generations of heirloom quilts. Rounding out the second floor is a loft overlooking the living area and the two-story high picture window over looking the Bay. There is a small empty room adjoining this loft which is a perfect playroom for children and a place to store toys and games.

On the first floor, the home has an open floor plan, perfect for entertaining or conversing with family and friends. The large kitchen has granite countertops, all amenities, and a full size casual eating area for 6 overlooking the Bay. The formal dining room is decorated with cherry furniture and can seat up to 8. A choice of dining linens and candle sticks complete the feeling of being in a home, not a house. The two-story living room is graced by an imported, hand-painted, glass chandelier. The large sofa, love seat and easy chair with ottoman are great for watching the game, relaxing by the large fire log, or just reading the paper. The large entryway isolates the living area from the street, further ensuring quiet and privacy.
